The biannual Top 50 Women in Accounting Awards celebrates and acknowledges inspiring women across the accounting and bookkeeping industry.
Since launching in 2018, the Women in Accounting Awards have recognized 327 women across our Top 50 lists, received more than 3,665 nominations, and represented women from 21+ countries around the world.
In 2026, Women in Accounting is evolving beyond a single awards moment into a year-round platform for recognition, connection, practical insights, and industry conversation.
This year’s theme, Igniting Change, celebrates the women driving meaningful transformation across the profession. From redefining how firms price and deliver value, to embracing AI and automation, building modern and scalable firms, and strengthening the profession through mentorship and community, these women are helping shape what accounting becomes next.
Through the Top 50 Women in Accounting Awards, year-round storytelling, events, and industry insights, the program shines a light on women creating measurable impact within their firms, their communities, and the profession as a whole.
Ignition is proud to champion Women in Accounting as a platform that gives greater visibility to the leaders driving progress, creates opportunities for the community to connect and learn, and brings forward practical conversations about leadership, technology, firm growth, pricing confidence, and the future of accounting.
You can nominate a leader or an emerging leader from your current company, a former colleague, a peer, or self-nominate as one of the Top 50 Women in Accounting. The process of nominating is anonymous - but you’re welcome to reach out to let them know you’ve nominated them! Next nominations open in July of 2026.
