"If the stories of the Top 50 Women in Accounting from previous years left me speechless, I can only imagine what will happen when I dive into the stories of applicants from all over the world. I'm excited to serve as a judge for this year's Top 50 Women in Accounting to put a face to stories that aren't always broadcast in mainstream media. I think it's amazing that Ignition is holding space for recognition — an idea that was unheard of a century ago.
The stories and experiences of women in accounting matter, and now the stories won't be limited to the four walls of a person's home or their community. Women all over the world can read the stories of the Top 50 Women in Accounting, see themselves in between the words, and get a glimpse of what's possible for them."

The Women in Accounting Awards are peer-reviewed recognition of your active commitment to empowering and elevating female voices in the accounting and bookkeeping industry. This year, our judging criteria will be based on empowering and elevating female voices, sparking lasting confidence and fostering community, and active participation in creating a more diverse and inclusive industry.
Nominate a leader or an emerging leader from your current company, a former colleague, or a peer (or even self-nominate) as one of the Top 50 Women in Accounting for 2024. The process of nominating is anonymous - but you’re welcome to reach out to let them know you’ve nominated them!
Nominees are offered the opportunity to provide a submission should they wish to participate in the awards. Each nominee will receive an email containing a nominee media kit and details on the submission process, encouraging them to enter the awards. A submission needs to be made in order to be eligible and all submissions must be finalized and received by August 9th, 2024.
All submissions will go through an audit process prior to going to the judging panel. Our judging panel will be assigned submissions to score based on the questions responses and supporting documentation. The judges score each part of the submission across the category’s criteria, giving an aggregated score and the aggregate highest score will determine the Top 50 Women in Accounting for 2024.
